Finding Our Front Door

Tabard Theatre (formerly Theatre on San Pedro Square) is located above O’Flaherty’s Irish Pub. The entrance is at the back of the building, facing towards Almaden Avenue. To access the theater from San Pedro Street,  use the pedestrian walkway between Dr. Funk’s and Serious Dumpling. Follow the paseo to the left and once you are facing San Pedro Social’s back patio you will see our neon sign to the left. Check in is at the box office for most shows. When you enter the lobby doors, turn left to go up the stairs to the theatre.

Accessibility

The theatre is located on the second floor of the building. If anyone in your party has trouble with stairs, or requires special accessibility or mobility assistance, we do have an elevator for your convenience. Please contact our box office if you have any specific seating needs such as wheelchair accessibility or fewer steps.

Food & Beverage

Tabard Theatre offers a full bar with beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks,  selection of candy and snacks, and our signature brie plate.

We are nestled in San José’s Historic San Pedro Square amid a bustling restaurant district with dozens of restaurants on our block alone. Check out their Visitor’s Guide for more information on places to find a full meal near the theatre.
